Meet the Bride

Alison Dawn Rusk was born in Chicago, and lived in Chicago, London and Houston, before settling in Austin.

She graduated in 1994 from UT at Austin with a degree in public relations. Having worked in non-profits and small companies for six years, she joined big corporation land two years ago at Dell Computer in product marketing. Apart from her career, Alison’s interests these days lie in gardening and cooking. One day, when her job requires fewer hours, she would like to get back into volunteering or working for a non-profit.

 

Meet the Groom

Tymon Lane Gardner is a proud native Austinite! Ty is a Dell Computer veteran with seven years in education sales. We say Dell years are like dog years, so that is why we call him a veteran.
Ty is also the poster boy for the HGTV and DiY cable channels. You name it, he has done it on their 1949 house – dry wall, trim, plumbing, gas, electric, tiling and the list continues to grow. Ty and Alison don’t remember what they did on weekends before the house. Beyond hardware, Ty’s passion for “German cars and American motorcycles” predicts the eventual need for a very large garage, but two cars are enough for now.
